Martin Chan is widely regarded as an expert in implant and restorative dentistry. He graduated from the University of London and underwent an exhaustive programme of postgraduate education and specialist training (accredited by the Royal Colleges of Surgeons). He gained registration on the GDC Specialist lists in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Endodontics. Martin was appointed as Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Leeds Dental Institute (Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust) in 1997. He has been lead clinician for dental implants, head of department, training programme director and regional specialty advisor. Dr Chan has written numerous publications, is very active in postgraduate teaching and has been an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons.
